Animation and knitting have a lot in common. Tiny steps make a fabulous end product in both crafts. This animation, bringing knitting and animation together must have taken forever but the result is wonderful woolly stuff.

The Little Red Plane is a three-and-a-half minute animation from Made of Wool. It was created as part of a university project.

It features a boy and his cat who go out in their little red plane to make some important deliveries. The entire film is made up of handmade creatures and scenery, and it's astounding to watch when you think how much time must have gone into the making even before the filming began.
